The Brief:

KeyCliq is a SaaS platform that's turning your physical keys into a searchable digital library. KeyCliq is a digital "click" solving a physical "key" problem. The brand needed a mark that showed protection and simplicity.

The Concept:

With a saturation of key-shaped logos, it was a challenge to make this identity unique. From initial discussions and sketches, I respected the "q" key shaped, but it appeared outdated. I leaned in on transforming the "K" instead to resemble a key cut in a lock.

The Revisions:

The client preferred the "q" key and to play with the lock graphic I showed in the other variation. I took the lock and converted it to a shield-like lock to add that element of protection to the brandmark. I decided to keep thing clean with the wordmark by only making the "q" the key.

The Finale:

After overcoming this challenge, I'm proud of how I shaped the logo into a deliberate design that tells the brand story and displays a clean, eccentric, and secure identity.
